Yes, In my haste of responding, I overlooked the nonsense work called "further restoration" by RM which consisted in removing the body made in the 70s and making out of the car a "racer inspired at the 20/30ES".
So, the current form (and the models) have not even the signification of a testimony of the 1970s restoration standards.
I seem to understand that Maurizio had already dropped the idea for that reason, but his correction is welcome if I misunderstood him about that.
His G1 baquet is in another league, both for modelling quality and for the sensitivity in choosing the subject. |
