Behind the new label 'Touring Modelcars' lies Ravensberger Handelskontor, a wholesaler in the model car industry. Also known for some AutoCult models. Owner Thomas Langejürgen launches the new brand with the first model, the Alfa Romeo Duetto 1600 Spider.
The 1:18 Duetto Spider was once only available at AUTOart. Touring Modelcars will supply the Spider in die-cast in red in an edition of 900 copies. With opening doors, trunk and hood. Under the hood is the nicely downsized 4 cylinder engine with overhead camshafts and the spark plug cables have not been forgotten. The dashboard offers a lot of detail, from the dials to switches and vents. The steering wheel and seats are also just like real and on the inside of the doors the decorative strips, handles and cranks are highlighted in chrome.
