Le Alfa nelle altre Scale

Non so dove postare questo, allora lo metto in "altre scale" anche perché la scala non è esplicitata.

Mi sono imbattuto per caso in questa pagina dove viene mostrato un motore 158 funzionante autocostruito nel 1950.

Una cosa pazzesca, non ultimata perché il ricco cliente cambio' idea. Il figlio scrisse questo anni fa, con l'intento di finire il progetto, ma anni dopo sembra che non sia successo niente.

Onore comunque a questo Henri Baigent, di cui non sapevo, e che sembra abbia realizzato un bel po' di modelli eccezionali

Nelle foto del catalogo autoart è sbucata fuori la 4c spider 1\18...non era stata presentata mi sembra

vista la 4c spider di sfuggita in un video mentre credo allestissero lo stand norimberga

Martina & Martin Kosmann have their 1:18 resin-cast models made in China. KK-Scale.DE already issued an AlfaSud, 1st type 1300 1972, 4 doors, chrome bumpers, in red and white.
As from April the Alfa Spider 1983 will be available, open cabrio with attached closed softtop.
It took long before type 3 Spider models became available. First only in 1:43 resin kits by Provence Moulage, Novakit, Record- M.R.F. and Tron.
Finally with the'le Glorie della AR'- serie Minichamps came with a good die-cast in red and light blue metallic.
Bermat, Corrado Beretta supplies a 1:24 bumper-spoiler transkit to convert the aerodinamica from a type 2 Coda Tronca die-cast.
The KK-Scale.DE is the first with the Spider type 3 in 1:18.

Cult Scale Models is a 1:18 resincast brand by the men behind Matrix Scale Models.(1:43), Jaap van Dijk and Mark Asbreuk, developed in the Nederlands, manufactured in China, same as for Matrix.
Doors cannot be opened, no engine detail, but with stirring front wheels. Models in the price category €uro 140.
In the 2017 planning were 3 Alfa Romeo models:
CML039-1 Alfa 2600 cabrio Touring 1961, white, just issued in december.
To follow:

CML055-1 Alfa 6C 2500S berlinetta Touring 1939, maroon

In the 2018 planning Cult Scale have announced 2 more Alfa Romeo's

As far as I'm concerned, 1:18 scale models take too much space, and I'll skip even interesting proposals as such (see Giuletta SZ for isntance). XXIst Century Alfas are outside my collection aim, so there I'm not even tempted.

BTW, it will be interesting to compare the Technomodel SZ with this CULT. At first sight, I'm more convinced by the windows frames on this one.

But that 6C2500S Touring I will probably not resist. Now, what will I need to oust from the showcase for making room for it, I don't know yet.

si, concordo, troppo impegnative per lo spazio (e spesso anche per il prezzo, anche se quello é relativo dato che ormai x alcuni montati chiedono 250 euro).
Mi chiedo invece come mai se ne escono con la spider terza serie in contemporanea...

Even the bigger scale is presented on the Spielwaren Messe by Italieri in 1:12, highly detailed.

On the Nürnberg Messe Solido did not show any 1:43 Alfa Romeo. However a resin prototype in 1:18 was visible in their display.
Since OTTOmobile France acquired Solido rights in 2015 from Dickie-Sima resincast makes sense.

Alfetta GTV6 in rally trim, with 4 extra headlamps, likely 1986 to come in the white-blue 'Rothmans' Tour de Corse by Loubat.
Other rally- and racing cars (24 hours) group 2 might follow, as well as a roadcar version.

Also known is that Laudoracing Models France have plans to issue the 1:18 GTV6 stradale in red, grey and black

This is a 100% reedition of the PROTAR kit!

I recongnize it in every detail, since I built an original one over 30 years ago.

Typical details: the orange front wing (it was alumium in the real life), the black rubber pipe for spark wires and clear for injection; the molded tyres (which deform over time),...

I had replaced the spark wires with custom, thinner material in order to have them following more realistic curves.

Now, since the original Protar kits go for some hundreds, the reedition makes some sense. Pity it has not been improved.

ma figli piccolo in giro.
Ora sono in cantina a invecchiare, penso che anche la pensione, se ci arriveremo, non ci darà una mano in fatto di ritrovare

ahahah stessa cosa per i 30 e più kit di aerei italiani che dovrei montare da anni mannaggia...un po' per le scarse capacità del sottoscritto...un po' per la mancanza di tempo...sono li da tanti anni...

Also from Fer's newsletter, I wanted to comment on the 1/18 6C3000CM to be released soon by Tecnomodel.

I must say it would be an 1/18 I would try to make some room for.

BUT...

I have been checking the pictures online, and it's a pity that they will be making both the Le mans and Mille Miglia version, botgh of which are... wrong, because the retained some feature of one, some of the other so that none is accurate. Pity, I say...

This is the Le Mans version:


The rear bonnet is wrong: at Le mans, it was cut shorter just covering the spare wheel, but without the lid going all the way down.

This is how it looked like at Le Mans:

Moreover: missing race number at the rear; missing "I" plate; rear brakes air intake not extended as it should.

Then, say, would it fit the Mille Miglia trim? As for the features listed above, yes.

But...



The rear wheel arches are those from Le Mans!

Torno sull'argomento, forse per infierire, ma siccome la 6C3000CM Colli mi piace, a dispetto del problema di spazio, ci stavo facendo un pensierino.

Purtroppo, più la guardo, e più vengono fuori dubbi. Oltre alle incoerenze di versione di cui sopra, mi è saltato agli occhi come qualcosa non vada nella vista di profilo: montante parabrezza troppo verticale? Finestrino troppo alto o un po' corto? Poi la maniglia esageratissima. Confrontate questa foto con quella sopra.



Poi altro ancora. Dicevo sopra delle differenze tra MM e LM per quanto riguarda il cofano posteriore, che invero copre la ruota di scorta, sporgente dal filo della coda. E sul modello, si scopre invece che hanno sistemato una ruota di scorta sotto al lunotto, dove dovrebbe stare il serbatoio!!!
